Extremely inexpensive and quite interesting, Guadalajara is only 25 minutes from Tequila, Mexico, where the infamous Mexican firewater is made. Excellent steak, seafood and Mexican delicacies, all averaging about N$28 pesos($4 US), complete. Cervesas(beer) average around N$2.50 pesos($0.35 US), Camerone(shrimp) cocktail about N$3 pesos ($1.25 US) and Tequila about N$1.
Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco, has one of the most fascinating historical districts anywhere in the world. Many of its structures resemble the Roman buildings in Italy. Even though it is highly Victorian and modest, it has some of the best legal Brothels in all of Mexico.
In Guadalajara you will find a shopping Mecca to rival even Thailand. Clothes are about one fourth the cost in the United States. Shoes and leather boots average about N$100 pesos ($15 US). The quality is excellent and the selection is tremendous. Mexicans are the best boot makers in the world.
Visit the Mercado, a four story shopping bazaar with everything from fresh meat, fruits and other foods, to some of the finest boots, jackets and other leather goods, clothes, souvenirs and electronics. Prices in the large department stores are just as inexpensive, and are air conditioned, in case the weather is extremely hot. It doesn’t have the same local flair as the Mercado, but the downtown plazas have great outdoor restaurants and plenty of shops and small vendors.
Guadalajara Brothels
Guadalajara del Dia*** No. 515 SL Calle 68, at the corner of Baranda & Allatore in \Sector Libertad
This is the largest and busiest Brothel in the city. All of the local Guadalaharans agree, undeniably. There are actually three separate Brothels in one building, each well lit and well decorated for your sporting pleasure.
The first, the Tropia, is the earliest to open for the afternoon matinee, and is located upstairs. It opens from 11AM-10PM. The girls are gorgeous, sexy and plentiful. Security is very tight. The doorman does a body search for any weapons before you are allowed to enter for a N$10 peso cover charge ($1.50 US).
If you are foreign and appear to have money, you will be singled out for extra charges and everyone will ask for a tip for any reason, from seating you to answering questions. Don’t pay. The girls move in quick, so pay close attention to the prices posted at the front entrance. Checks have been known to be padded as much as 3x the amount they should be.
About 5PM, the new girls arrive for the two later Brothels, El Parian and Rincon Bohemio, with some of the girls from the Tropia filtering down to keep the spirit flowing. Each club has its own atmosphere, from dance halls to sitting rooms with several large, sunken pits.
There are 2 shows in the Bohemio, 11PM and 2AM, and 3 shows in El Parian, 5PM, 10PM and 2AM. The girls will push you to buy an entire bottle, usually about N$300 pesos ($50 US). The drinks are only N$6 to N$20 pesos ($1 to $3.50 US). The girls get paid commissions for their drink sales. They have no intention of drinking an entire bottle, but it pays better. Once you buy a girl a drink, then you are allowed to dance with her and can begin negotiations.
The girls are attractive and fun, but will push for a tip even if you don't strike a deal. Be firm, tell them "no gracias", then choose another girl, or check out the other clubs in the building. There are about fifty girls wandering around at any one time. They are very clean and first class. The desired amount is N$800 pesos ($125 US), but can be negotiated down to N$200 to N$400 pesos ($35-70 US), depending on the girl.
La Cascadas**** Named for the waterfalls throughout the club, La Cascadas is a first class Bordello offering a continual floor show, with entertainment both on stage and off. A N$10 peso cover charge and a security check for weapons will get you in the door where you can select a seat around the stage, and begin checking out the 20 or so lovely ladies lounging around. They are very friendly, not pushy, and range from N$200 pesos and up. Very nice ambiance with red (what else) background lighting throughout. The shows are Las Vegas style with excellent entertainment. Drinks are N$10 and up. One of the top clubs in the city and a sporting favorite. So sit back, relax, and let the fantasy begin. (A taxi ride is suggested, since the streets in Guadalajara are totally confusing. About N$25 round-trip/$6 US)
No matter where you are in the world, including Guadalajara, ask and understand (especially in case of foreign currency) the prices each time you order. Be sure they are the same as the menu out front. Don't be embarrassed to go back out front and show your waiter, in case language becomes a problem, and have them write it down if you aren't sure. Nothing ruins the sweet taste of pleasure as quickly as being ripped off or robbed. Mistakes can be made on both sides. Once the waiters know you are cognizant of the prices, you are less likely to be hustled. A sporting gentleman's prowess is not just in the actual pleasure(sexual interaction), but in the entire ritual. That's what separates the hunter from the hunted, and the rewards obtained during the search for a higher fulfillment of life's lustful journey to fruition.
